Fall in Boulder, Co

Ok, so it's been 3 years since my last post. I've been busy. But I am just going to carry on like nothing happened. Actually a lot has happened. But that's another blog.

So I write this from beautiful Boulder where the sun is majestic and bold. Where all the streets have bike lanes with bikers using them and everyone is healthy and robust.

Being the silly anglophile that I am, I am missing the misty rainy days in Nashville. Tennessee reminds me of England in so many ways. The city is built like a wheel instead of a grid, its narrow and winding and it rains! Boulder is like a brand new shiny book with crisp fresh pages and Nashville is a bit torn, you have to blow off the dust, its old and mysterious.

I have lived in Nashville for 22 years now and its truly home, which is a nice thing to know. That you have someplace where you belong. A place that calls you and waits for you, a place where your soul lives.  If someone had asked me where that was years ago, I would have not known the answer. I think that sometimes a place picks us. It says; this is your ground, this is your sky and here is the air that you will breath. I am very happy that Nashville chose me.

Happy Fall,
Cheers, Sally!
